On Friday Lunch they opened the doors to – Saffran and Vitlök – in Sunne.
We’ve had the honor to design their interior and develop their new graphical profile.

It has been such an inspiring project as they stand for great values, such as “as close as possible” = “Så nära som möjligt” meaning they strive to use as much locally produced raw ingredients as possible for their food. The food is made with lots of love and so we wanted to give the same love and attention to detail in their new interiors and profile.
All the wood is from their local area in Sunne. Designed by us and built by Nykvist byggnads Ab. Even the steal used in the restaurant is from Sunne, constructed by Jmek.

Their new profile contains original watercolour imagery and portraits of their local suppliers. We have also made unique, handmade lamps of different kinds. The big lamps are made out of paperpulp from Stora enso in Värmland.

If you have the chance its definitely a restaurant worth visiting, great food and great atmosphere!

Here you can enjoy some of the process pictures the week we were moving in 🙂
